NOTE: During the May 22 election cycle in Harris County, TX, sixty-six (66) percent of the vote was cast before Election Day. And of those voters, a little over half cast their ballot by mail. Given that ninety-nine (99) percent of the persons voting by mail in the County were over 65-year old explains why this age group comprised the highest percentage of the combined early voters. Once the Election Day voters are included, the share of the vote for this age group will decrease. Still, more than likely, after all is said and done, among the listed age groups on this table, the overall share of the vote for persons over 65 years of age will remain the largest.
